COVID – 19 Track and Trace

September 30, 2020 | Emma Johnson

Thank you for your continued co-operation and respect regarding our COVID-19 guidelines. We would like to update you with the guidelines on using the track and trace QR codes. The signs are currently in process and will be on site over the coming days (30/09/2020). The signs will be spread around our astro turfs and indoor facilities we advise all customers use the track and trace app in order for us to keep you all safe whilst using our facilities. Please see information below with how the app works and the reason we are using the tool.

The NHS Test and Trace service:

  • ensures that anyone who develops symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) can quickly be tested to find out if they have the virus, and also includes targeted asymptomatic testing of NHS and social care staff and care home residents.
  • helps trace close recent contacts of anyone who tests positive for coronavirus and, if necessary, notifies them that they must self-isolate at home to help stop the spread of the virus.

Playing your part:

  • if you develop symptoms, you must continue to follow the rules to self-isolate with other members of your household and get a test to find out if you have coronavirus
  • if you test positive for coronavirus, you must share information promptly about your recent contacts through the NHS Test and Trace service to help us alert other people who may need to self-isolate
  • if you have had close recent contact with someone who has coronavirus, you must self-isolate if the NHS Test and Trace service advises you to do so
  • if you are returning from travel abroad it is important to check whether you need to self-isolate

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you all enjoying sport again.
