The half-term fun camp at Mosborough proved to be its usual, successful occasion. With a range of indoor and outdoor activities being undertaken by the children (and adults) much fun was had by all.

Children enjoyed playing with colouring sheets, Twister, Battleships, Guess Who and Lego but to name a few of the indoor activities. After a short break to refuel the activities commenced outdoor this time with children playing football, basketball and skipping. There was also a nature trail explored by the children who looked at the plants and animals that make this area their home.

To round off the day and due to popular demand the inaugural Mosborough Fun Camp Benchball tournament was held. It was an exciting and tense affair from the off, with many close games throughout. The final was no exception and was keenly contested between ‘The Reds’ and ‘The Blues’! It started with The Reds taking and early lead but The Blues brought it back to take the lead themselves with just a minute remaining. Looking like victory was beyond them The Reds pulled out two scores in the last 30 seconds to seal the victory.

So after a fun we would all like to say a massive thank you to all involved, including the children, who made the camp a huge success. We hope to see you at our next fun camp which will be held in April.
